The University Grants Commission (UGC)-National Eligibility Test (NET) is a national-level eligibility test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the UGC to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) and Assistant Professor positions in Indian universities and colleges.
